Privacy Policy

Our Commitment to Privacy

Our Privacy Policy was developed as an extension of our commitment to combine the highest quality products, services, and voter registration services as a free public service while maintaining the highest level of integrity in dealing with visitors to our web site. Our Privacy Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how this site collects, uses and safeguards the personal information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our site.

What Information Do We Collect and How Do We Use It?

When you visit PresidentialElection.com you may provide us with various information to purchase our products and/or services. We may collect your name, address and other personal information. On our Voter Registration services, once you print, sign, and mail in your voter registration application form to your local or state election officials, it generally becomes a public record from your state of residence and this information is sent directly from you to your particular state.

Email addresses are collected for internal use for future marketing campaigns that you may opt out of at any time. Any time you ask us to remove your information from our system, we will honor your request and remove it immediately. Our servers are unloaded every couple days so in the unlikely event of a breech, there is never any information on our servers older than couple days old. During the three months before each election, our servers are unloaded daily. We never keep any personal information about anyone on file. (Only email addresses)

Should I Ever Give My Social Security Number out On-Line?

No, you shouldn’t. In our on-line Voter Registration Section, some states such as Hawaii, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Ohio, and New Mexico, may ask for your social security number to prevent fraudulent registration and voting.

At no time does PresidentialElection.com need your Social Security number for any reason. In the states that request a social security number for processing, we have added a safety feature in the description

“If you do not want to type in your Social Security number in this form for security reasons, you can leave it blank. When you print your form to mail, you will still have to write it in manually before you mail in your registration application.”

We recommend leaving this field blank and writing it in by hand after printing. The referenced states will need that information to process your application.

Do We Share Information?

To date, we are the only business we know of that assists voters that does not use your information for anything. In the future, we may provide information about site traffic patterns, demographics, and related site information to future partners, sponsors, or reputable third parties but we do not share any information collected at this time. We provide our services as a FREE public service at our expense and have done so since 1998.

Some information such as your name, email addresses, and addresses, may be saved for exchanged with future partners and/or organizations with principles and/or missions that are similar to those of PreisdentialElection.com for the use of providing excellent services to our users.

How Can You Choose Not to Receive Information from Us or to Correct Your Information?

If you wish to access, delete or correct your information, please access our contact information at contact section. From this link, you may also elect to be removed from our mailing lists by telling us not to keep any information on file.

What About Children’s Privacy?

Protecting the privacy of children is very important to us and a top priority. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personally-identifiable information from any person we know is a child under the age of 18. If we discover that we have received any information from a child under age 18 in violation of this policy, we will delete that information immediately. This non-partisan site is considered one of the safest educational non-bias sites for children and adults alike in the world.

In our Political Issues section, we do have some high profile issues but only link and display factual information where the users can decide for themselves.
